Hi all!
I wanted to see what it was like to start my own topic!
Has anyone here ever met Cherie in person?
I would love to hear some great stories if you have any.
I have never met you Cherie, but I would sure love to some day. I became a fan of yours as a child because my parents are fans of yours. I was only a child when you were in the Runaways. We always listened to your music. I wore out my parents records! It stuck with me all this time.
Love,
Christina

Hi Christina,
I've met Cherie three times. She is really a very sweet person! I was also fortunate enough to meet her twin sister Marie once, and she's just as sweet!
I was 12 years old when I became a fan of The Runaways in 1976. My mom bought me their first album, because they were all girls and she thought I'd enjoy that. Thanks so much mom! I think my dad probably wished she hadn't introduced me to The Runaways tho, because I used to listen to their albums over and over and over, and loud enough for him to constantly bang on my bedroom door to turn the music down LOL
Anyway, if you're interested, I have pictures of Cherie on my website, in the photo albums titled Katt Lowe 070701, Katt Lowe 100601, and Katt Lowe 020202.

CCfan,
Cherie and Marie are both sweethearts, and have hearts as big as themselves I actually met Marie before I met Cherie, and I use to hang out with Marie, and workout with her at Golds Gym in Venice, Calif.. One Christmas, I went to dinner at Cheries house.
I haven't seen Marie in years, and the last time I saw Cherie was back in 1999 at Retrofest, a weekend of retro music, TV shows, and stuff from the 50's, 60's and 70's, that was held in Santa Monica, Calif. where I live.

Thank you both for your stories. I love the pics! I didn't get a chance to look at all of them, but I will.
That is so cool, that you actually got to eat dinner at Cherie's house! WOW!
Thanks again!
